Doug Bayless started with Schneider Commercial Real Estate in the early 1980’s while attending the University of California at Davis, and returned full time in 1985. After a number of successful years with Schneider Commercial Doug formed his own brokerage firm. He specializes in the sale of development and investment land, residential lots, and end user sites in Northern California. Doug has been a real estate agent and broker for over 33 years and has handled transactions exceeding one billion dollars. The Sacramento Association of Commercial Real Estate recognized Doug as the Land Broker of the Year in 2005 and both the Land Broker and Overall Broker of the Year in 2006. The brokerage business grew by focusing on advance planning for land development, delivery of entitled projects to major production home builders, and guiding individual property owners through the process of selling properties to developers and builders.

Since 1990 Doug has also been an organizing member and active participant in two Sacramento County Specific Plan areas – North Vineyard Station (http://www.msa2.saccounty.net/planning/Pages/NorthVineyardStationSpecificPlan.aspx) and Laguna Ridge (http://www.egplanning.org/projects/lagunaridge/), now in the City of Elk Grove, to obtain entitlements for land use and infrastructure approvals.
